Nissan Frontier: Instruments and Controls - Horn

To sound the Nissan Frontier horn, press the area located between the horn symbols on the steering wheel.

The horn is an important safety device that allows drivers to alert pedestrians, cyclists, and other motorists when necessary.

WARNING

Do not disassemble, modify, or tamper with the Nissan Frontier horn assembly. Doing so may affect the operation of components associated with the supplemental front air bag system.

Unauthorized modifications to the supplemental restraint system could result in serious personal injury or prevent proper air bag deployment during a collision.

Cargo Lamp Switch

The Nissan Frontier cargo lamp provides additional illumination for the truck bed area, making loading and unloading easier during nighttime or low-light conditions.

To turn on the cargo lamp, press the switch downward to the ON position.

The cargo light helps improve visibility around the rear of the Nissan Frontier and can be particularly useful during work activities, camping trips, and cargo handling.

CAUTION

Always return the Nissan Frontier cargo lamp switch to the OFF position before leaving the vehicle unattended for extended periods. Leaving the cargo lamp illuminated may discharge the battery and prevent normal vehicle starting.
