Nissan Frontier: Instruments and Controls - Power inverter switch

To use the Nissan Frontier power outlets for devices that require up to 120V power, the engine must be running and the power inverter switch must be turned on.

When the vehicle is in the P (Park) position, both the 400W and 150W indicators illuminate automatically. When the Nissan Frontier is shifted out of P (Park), only the 150W indicator remains illuminated, showing that the available outlet power is reduced while the vehicle is not in Park.

CAUTION

• Use the power outlets only with the engine running to help avoid discharging the vehicle battery.
• Do not use double adapters or connect more than one electrical accessory at the same time. Doing so may place excessive demand on the electrical system and significantly drain the Nissan Frontier battery.

For safe and reliable operation, always match the connected device to the available power rating and disconnect accessories when they are no longer needed.
