Nissan Frontier: Pre-driving checks and adjustments - Sun visors

Basic information

The Nissan Frontier sun visors are designed to help reduce glare from sunlight and improve driver visibility in various driving conditions.

1. To reduce glare from the front windshield area, lower the sun visor 1.

2. To block sunlight entering from the side windows, remove the visor from the center retaining clip and rotate it toward the side position 2.

3. Extend or retract the integrated visor extension 3 as needed to provide additional coverage.

The adjustable design helps improve comfort during sunrise, sunset, and other conditions where direct sunlight may affect visibility.

CAUTION

• Always return the visor extension to its fully retracted position before storing the sun visor.
• Do not forcefully pull downward on the visor extension, as damage to the mechanism may occur.

Vanity mirrors

To use the vanity mirror (if equipped), lower the Nissan Frontier sun visor and open the mirror cover.

Some models feature illuminated vanity mirrors that automatically turn on when the cover is opened, providing additional convenience in low-light conditions.
