The Nissan Frontier is equipped with convenient USB charging ports designed to keep compatible electronic devices powered while traveling. Depending on vehicle equipment, USB charging ports are located in the front media storage pocket beneath the climate control panel as well as in the rear passenger area on the back of the center console.
These charging ports provide a practical way to recharge smartphones, tablets, wireless accessories, and other compatible devices during daily commuting, long-distance travel, or off-road adventures. The Nissan Frontier cabin is designed to ensure that both front and rear passengers have convenient access to charging capabilities.
NOTE:
- Not all USB charging ports are connected to the infotainment display system. Only the USB ports positioned beneath the climate controls support communication with the audio and multimedia system for data transfer and device operation.
- For optimal performance, Nissan recommends using original manufacturer cables, which are typically sold separately. Although USB Type-A to USB Type-C adapters (or vice versa) can be used, charging speed and connectivity performance may vary depending on the accessory and device combination.
CAUTION
- Do not force a USB device into the connector. Inserting a USB device at an angle or upside down may
damage both the connector and the device.
Always ensure the USB connector is correctly aligned and fully inserted before use.
- Do not use a reversible USB cable that is not specifically designed for the connector. Improper cables may cause damage to the USB port and reduce system reliability.
