Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.
- Remove the tail lamp assemblies. For additional information, refer to Section 417-01.
- Disconnect the license plate light electrical connector.
- Remove the 4 bumper cover upper pin-type retainers.
- Remove the 2 upper bumper cover retainer screws.
- NOTE:
Sedan shown, coupe similar.
Remove the 2 fender splash shield-to-bumper cover pin-type retainers (1 each side).

Remove the lower bumper cover pin-type retainers.
- NOTE:
Sedan shown, coupe similar.
Remove the bumper cover-to-support brace screws (1 each side, Sedan only).
- NOTE:
The forward upper portion of the bumper cover must be pulled outward to release it from the bumper cover mounting reinforcement bracket.
Remove the bumper cover.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
