Ford Focus Service Manual: Seat Backrest Latch - Rear
NOTE:
For component identification and locations, refer to Seat — Exploded View, Front in this section.
- Remove the seat backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover — Rear in this section.
- Release the retainer and detach the release cable from the backrest frame.
- Route the release strap through the hole in the foam pad.
- Remove the 2 nuts and backrest latch.
- To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
