Ford Focus Service Manual: Seat Backrest Latch - Rear

NOTE:

1. Remove the seat backrest cover. For additional information, refer to Seat Backrest Cover — Rear in this section.

1. Release the retainer and detach the release cable from the backrest frame.
   • Route the release strap through the hole in the foam pad.

1. Remove the 2 nuts and backrest latch.
   • To install, tighten to 22 Nm (16 lb-ft).

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
