All vehicles

Remove the rear door sail panel.

NOTE:
LH rear door trim panel shown, RH rear door trim panel similar.
Remove the rear door inside handle finish panel.
- Pull the rear door inside handle outward.
- Using a suitable tool, pull the rear door inside handle finish panel outward at the location shown.

Remove the rear door inside handle bolt.

Manual windows

NOTE:
Use a suitable tool to remove the clip.
Remove the window regulator handle.

Power windows

Remove the window control switch. For additional information, refer to Section 501-11.

All vehicles

NOTICE: Pull the rear door pull handle screw cover at the rear of the rear door pull handle screw cover. Otherwise, damage to the rear door pull handle screw cover may occur.

NOTE:
LH rear door trim panel shown, RH rear door trim panel similar.
Remove the rear door pull handle screw cover.

Remove the 2 rear door pull handle screws.
- To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).

Lift the rear door trim panel screw cover and remove the 2 rear door trim panel screws.

NOTE:
To help with the removal of the rear door trim panel, the location of the rear door trim panel retaining clips on the backside of the rear door trim panel are shown.
NOTE:
RH rear door trim panel shown, LH rear door trim panel similar.
Remove the rear door trim panel.
- Pull the rear door trim panel away from the door to release the rear door trim panel retaining clips.
- Lift the rear door trim panel upward over the door lock knob.

NOTE:
LH rear door trim panel shown, RH rear door trim panel similar.
Remove the rear door inside handle from the rear door trim panel.
1. Pull the rear door handle cable from the rear door inside handle cable retainer.
1. Lift the rear door handle cable upward from the rear door inside handle.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- To install, make sure to align the trim panel retaining clips to the retaining clip holes in the body.
