Removal and Installation

All vehicles

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
   • From underneath the cushion front edge, push the 2 seat cushion latch releases toward the LH side of the vehicle.
   • Lift up the front edge of the cushion and remove.

1. Remove the rear center safety belt anchor bolt.
   • To install, tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

4 door

1. Remove the RH and LH quarter trim panels. For additional information, refer to Quarter Trim Panel — 4-Door in this section.

2 door

1. Remove the RH and LH C-pillar trim panels. For additional information, refer to C-Pillar Trim Panel in this section.

All vehicles

1. Fold the rear seat backs downward to the flat position.

1. Remove the safety belt retractor bezel.
   • Pull the safety belt retractor bezel toward the front of the vehicle.
   • Remove the safety belt retractor bezel from the safety belt.

1. Remove the 2 parcel shelf pin-type retainers.

1. Remove the parcel shelf.
   • Pull the parcel shelf toward the front of the vehicle.
   • Pull the center safety belt rearward through the center retractor opening.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
