Ford Focus Service Manual: Roof Opening Panel Weatherstrip
Removal
- Remove the roof opening panel glass. For additional information, refer to Roof Opening Panel Glass in this section.
- Remove the roof opening panel glass weatherstrip.
Installation
- Place a new weatherstrip into position on the glass assembly, with the splice (seam) on the passenger side.
- Starting with the corners, push the weatherstrip into position. Continue pushing the weatherstrip into position around the glass assembly until complete. Use a plastic hammer if necessary.
- Install the roof opening panel glass. For additional information, refer
to Roof Opening Panel Glass in this section.
- Initialize the roof opening panel motor. For additional information, refer to Roof Opening Panel Motor Initialization in this section.
