Ford Focus Service Manual: Seat Bolster - Rear

Removal and Installation

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
   • Locate the cushion latch releases under the cushion front edge.
   • Push to release the 2 latches and remove the cushion.

1. Remove the seat bolster nut from the lower stud.
   • To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).

1. From the luggage compartment, release the upper retainer behind the seat bolster and remove.
   • If installing a new seat bolster, install a new upper retainer.

1. NOTE:

   Make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.

   To install, reverse the removal procedure.
