Removal
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information,
refer to Section 100-02.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the nut, rotate the bottom of the engine forward
enough so the roll restrictor clears the subframe and remove the roll restrictor.
Installation
- NOTICE: The roll restrictor bolts are different lengths. If the long
bolt is used to hold the roll restrictor to the subframe, damage to the steering
rack may occur.
Position the roll restrictor in place and loosely install the roll restrictor-to-subframe
bolt.
- Install the roll restrictor-to-transaxle bracket bolt and tighten both of
the roll restrictor bolts.
- Tighten to 70 Nm (52 lb-ft).
