Ford Focus Service Manual: Cooling Fan Motor and Shroud
Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to Section 100-02.
- Remove the lower radiator air deflector. For additional information, refer to Section 501-02.
- Disconnect the cooling fan motor and shroud electrical connector and the pin-type retainers.
- Remove the 2 bolts and remove the cooling fan motor and shroud from the
vehicle.
- To install, tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
