Removal
- NOTE:
PCM installation DOES NOT require new keys or programming of keys, only a Parameter Reset of the Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) .
Retrieve the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration retrieval steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01.
- Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) outlet pipe and the ACL assembly. For additional information, refer to Section 303-12.
- Disconnect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the PCM.
Installation
- Install the PCM and the 2 bolts.
- Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
- Connect the 3 PCM electrical connectors.
- Install the ACL outlet pipe and the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to Section 303-12.
- Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation (PMI) procedure. For additional information, refer to Section 418-01.
- Reprogram the PATS . Carry out the Parameter Reset procedure. For additional information, refer to Section 419-01B.

Removal and Installation

Remove the 2 screws from rear of the air deflector.
Remove the 6 screws and 3 pin-type retainers from the bottom of the air
deflector.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
